What is carbs?

Carbs , also called Carbohydrates are the main source of energy for the body, providing 4 kcal per gram of carb. Glucose is a carbohydrate and a monosaccharide and easily absorbed.

Carbohydrates are essential for the oxidation of fats and for synthesis of certain non-essential amino acids.

Sources of carbohydrates are mainly divided into starches, sugar and cellulose and some of carbohydrate examples are
